A Brazilian footballer was brought crushing down to earth after scoring a penalty rebound as he jarred his knee while attempting to replicate Ronaldo's trademark celebration. Kesley had just equalised for Gremio Prudente but had to be brought off immediately after, having collapsed upon landing.

Kesley isn't the only player to have emulated Ronaldo's famous jump. Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund pulled off the celebration in front of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner during a Nations League game between Denmark and Portugal, admitting afterwards Ronaldo has always been one of his idols.
